Terms & Conditions

1. Before your first session
All clients must complete the contact information and consent form before your first session.

2. Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Appointments that are not will be charged at the full cost.

3. Late arrival
If you arrive 15 minutes or more late for an appointment, the session will be forfeited and you will be liable to pay the full cost of that appointment.

4. Refunds
There is a no-refund policy. However, an extension to a pack of sessions can be agreed depending on individual circumstances, such as illness or injury.

5. Fees
Payment is due within 5 hours after your session, unless you choose to purchase a pack, in which case payment is taken before your sessions begin. In some cases, monthly fees will apply.

6. Price changes
Session costs are subject to economic conditions, inflation and annual reviews of pricing structures, and may therefore change at any time. Written notification will be provided in the case of price increases.

7. Non-payment
If you have not paid for your previous session, we reserve the right to cancel future appointments and refuse work in the future.

8. Suitability for soft tissue therapy
Any contraindications highlighted in your contact information and consent form may mean a GP's referral is needed before soft tissue therapy can be provided, in order to protect you. It is normal to feel muscle soreness and aching after deep manipulative therapy to the soft tissues, and this will pass as part of the recovery process. You consent to this by agreeing to the contact and consent form. The form also states that Anja is not a medically trained professional and does not provide diagnosis of medical conditions or diseases during or following a treatment.

9. Liability
Wellness by Anja will not be liable for any financial loss or loss of personal possessions as a result of, or in connection with, the provision of services to you. We will also not be liable for any damage that may have been caused as a result of your failure to disclose medical details. We will not be liable for any muscle soreness, bruising or discolouration of the skin following a soft tissue therapy treatment, as this can happen depending on the individual and is part of the healing process.

10. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, Wellness by Anja owns the intellectual property rights for all material provided, and all intellectual property rights are reserved. You must not republish material; sell, rent or sub-license material; or reproduce, duplicate or copy material.

11. Data protection
Wellness by Anja is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) as a Data Controller (registration number ZB520293). All client details, case notes and correspondence are stored securely and treated confidentially in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
